Pre-waxed Needles with Gold Fiduciary Markers are designed for use with conventional radiation therapy methods. The product consists of one (1) solid gold seed marker loaded into a 17g needle that has been pre-plugged with Bone Wax. PGLA (Polyglycolic-Lactic Acid) sleeves and spaces included when applicable. The needles are manufactured using 304 stainless steel and 10993 resins. The markers are 99.9% gold Bone wax is comprised of Bees Wax, Paraffin and Isopropyl pamlitate and is used as a mechanical stopper to help retain the gold maker within the needle before and during placement. Sterile Implant Needles Are Available Unloaded or Preloaded with Gold Marker.
